Is a VIP Day actually worth it? Let's be honest.
Alright, here we go…The questions people ask before they book, answered properly, without the sales spin.
If you've been thinking about a VIP Day and haven't booked one yet, I'd be willing to bet it's not because you don't want to. It's because something is stopping you. A question you can't quite answer. A doubt sitting quietly in the background going "but what if..." So let's just talk about it. It’s time to dive into the real objections.
"I'm not sure we'll actually get enough done in one day."
This is the most common one, and I understand it completely, because a whole day sounds like a lot until you start imagining what you'd even fill it with (considering yours is spent hours opening, closing and scrolling Instagram. Sorry, someone had to say it.
Here's what I want you to know. Before we even meet, you fill out an onboarding form. I ask you real questions about your business, what's working, what's not, what's been sitting on the list, what's actually keeping you up at night. By the time we sit down together, I already know your business well enough to hit the ground running.
Then we build the list together, split it up, and go. And what happens in that space is consistently one of my favourite things to witness, because things that would have taken you weeks to figure out alone, sitting there googling and second-guessing and going in circles, get done in a matter of hours. Because I know what I'm doing, I work fast, and I can see the most direct path to the outcome.
Let me tell you about Tahlia's day. She's a branding and events photographer based in Melbourne. In six hours we covered: objection handling copy for her business, a full suite of photography agreements, onboarding and off-boarding email sequences, messaging refinement, Instagram hooks, a full Instagram audit with bio options, and a feedback and reviews system set up from scratch.
She even said it to me that it would have taken her 30 days to do what we did in…a day. Yep.
And it's not just about the volume. It's about the right things, the things that actually move the needle, done properly, in the right order, with strategy behind every decision. That's what you can't replicate by yourself on a Tuesday afternoon between client calls.
"I've always just done everything myself. I don’t want to hire help and for it to not feel like me."
You've been doing it alone because you have been, not because it's the most effective way.
The people who are moving fastest in their businesses are not the ones who are doing everything themselves. They're the ones who've stopped pretending that willpower alone is a sustainable strategy and started getting proper support.
There's also a specific thing that happens in a VIP Day that you can't get from a course or a template or a YouTube tutorial: you get to watch someone who knows what they're doing work through your business, in real time. You see how I think, you understand why we're making the decisions we're making and you learn things by proximity that you couldn't learn any other way. People walk away not just with things done, but with a completely different understanding of their own business.
"What if I don't know what to focus on?"
Good news: that's literally what we figure out first. You don't need to come in with a perfectly formed agenda. You need to show up honestly and be willing to do the work. I'll ask the right questions, identify where the real bottlenecks are, and we'll build the day's plan together from there. Not knowing exactly what you need is actually the most common starting point. It's literally what the day is for. Let’s say adios to that overwhelm together, because let’s be real, it’s not going to go away until you do something about it.
"It's just under $1,000. That's a lot of money."
Yes. And let's actually talk about this properly, because I think the way most people frame this question is backwards. The question isn't "Can I afford a VIP Day?" The question is "What is staying stuck actually costing me?"
Think about the clients you're not converting because your onboarding is clunky and unprofessional. The enquiries that go cold because there's no follow-up system. The website that's quietly losing you credibility every time someone lands on it. The offers that aren't positioned clearly enough to sell themselves. The to-do list that's been sitting there since March that's costing you time, energy and mental space every single week.
Staying stuck has a cost. It's just an invisible one, and invisible costs are the easiest ones to ignore.
$950 + GST for a full day of focused, expert, hands-on support that actually moves the needle on all of that, with things ACTUALLY done by the end of it, is not an indulgence. It's one of the most direct investments you can make in your business. And if that one day helps you land even one new client you might have otherwise lost or convert an enquiry that would have otherwise gone cold, it's already paid for itself.
"What actually happens on the day? What does it look like?"
We meet at a cafe, somewhere with good wifi, delicious coffee, and room to spread out. If you've got a coworking space in mind, let's go there - I’m always down for new spaces. And if needed, I can hotspot us if we need to. The point is it feels like a FUN day out, not just some corporate consultation.
We start with your onboarding form as our foundation, build the list, split it up, and get into it. The energy and I say this every time because it's always true — is FUN. There's something about having someone next to you who knows what they're doing and is completely focused on your business for a whole day that creates this momentum you can feel. By the end of the day you're not exhausted in the wrong way. You're buzzing. That "oh my god, look at what we actually got through" feeling. The weight that lifts when things that have been sitting on your list for months are just... done. That's the day.
"Is this right for me specifically?"
If you are a service-based business owner who is doing it all alone, feeling stuck on the same things, and know deep down that your business could be further along than it is, yes. You don't need to be a photographer, you don't need to have a certain size business or a certain level of experience. You just need to be ready to show up and do the work. The people who get the most out of a VIP Day are the ones who've been running on willpower and figuring everything out alone for long enough that they're ready to let someone help.
And if that’s you? You can apply below. Melbourne bookings close on the 16th of May and reopen for bookings from the 1st of August. Sunshine Coast and Brisbane bookings are open for the months of June and July.
Not sure if you need a Strategy Session or a VIP Day? The short answer: a Strategy Session gives you the plan. A VIP Day gives you the plan and gets it done. If you want both in one go — that's the VIP Day. Compare all options here.
