Meet the Founder of Branding by Sophie
I’m a Melbourne-based website designer, brand strategist, and photographer. I work with service-based businesses across Australia and internationally to build brands that reflect the quality of the work behind them. But outside of that, I’m someone that values living a life full of courage, play and connection. But we will get into that in a moment.

I have a Bachelor of Photography majoring in Photojournalism and Documentary. Everything I learnt in my studies was based around communication and storytelling. That foundation now shapes everything I do in my business. There’s no generic poses, no cookie-cutter websites and no one-size-fits-all strategy.
I've photographed over 200 women in embodiment experiences from boudoir and self love photoshoots to holding women’s group experiences and 3 day long retreats. I am someone that feels completely at ease in front of a lens, which means I can help YOU to feel that same comfort too. That same instinct carries into every website, every strategy and every ecosystem I build. It all comes back to: does this actually feel like you?

I work with service-based businesses across Australia and internationally— coaches, therapists, photographers, consultants and founders and what I bring that most people can't is the whole picture. Not just aesthetic photos or just a beautiful website. We build systems where your photography, your website, your email marketing and your brand strategy all work together as one cohesive thing.
Most people hire a photographer, then a web designer, then someone for email. They end up with three beautiful things that don't talk to each other. I build the ecosystem so it compounds, converts, and keeps working for you long after we're done.

Let’s get close and personal...
I'm a world traveller and a solo adventurer and I genuinely believe that a full life makes better creative work and well, a much more enjoyable life. In my early 20’s I bike-packed solo from Germany to Slovakia, and from Hobart to Launceston. I've been on countless overnight hikes and long distance expeditions, learnt to paraglide, run for hours on end on the trails and travelled to 36 countries before I turned 28. I'm also completely at home at a flashy wine bar, in a contemporary dance class, or deep in a new book with candles lit. Oh and I am madly in love with my beautiful partner Dasun. If you’re in my emails, you would’ve heard all about him. Right now I'm training for a 102km Ultra Marathon in New Zealand come February 2027, so let’s just say, you’re emails will most likely be reaching me when I’m knee deep in training.
I'm a Reflector 2/4 and a Gemini Sun, Capricorn Moon (it makes so much sense) and a Pisces Rising. Whilst I dig being in my most embodied self in business, I am also just a pure goof ball that loves to make others feel more comfortable in embracing their weird and wonderful selves.
