She Found Me on Instagram. The One I'm Not Even On.

Here's the thing about building systems in your business — you don't always get to see them work in real time. Until you do. And then wow, wow, wow.

Let me tell you about Ney.

Ney is a doula based in Melbourne. She found me on Instagram, which is honestly the most ironic thing, considering I've been off the app for the last 12 days. She landed on my page, had a look around, and just knew. She didn't need to be convinced. She didn't need a lengthy sales call or a follow up sequence. She saw everything she needed, and she slid into my emails with something along the lines of: "I know you're leaving, but I love your work."

And so we made it work.

What happened next is the part I have to share, because I think it says everything about what's possible when your business is actually set up to hold people well.

This is what happened within 24 hours of her enquiry.

→ We jumped on a connection call

→ Ney booked an Airbnb for the shoot

→ I sent her a proposal — with options to add on extras (hello, Creative Branding Workshop and video content)

→ She said yes to the extras

→ Invoice sent. Invoice paid.

→ Photography agreement signed and delivered

→ Onboarding form done and dusted

All of that, in one day. And it didn’t consume me or stop me from doing everything else I had planned for my day. And today, we're heading into her photoshoot.

I've been sitting with this story for a little while now, because it really did highlight a few things that feel important to share.

You have to be able to meet your clients where they're at.

Ney was ready. Like, ready ready. And if I hadn't had the systems in place to move quickly — to send a proposal the same day, to have a polished onboarding experience waiting, I might have fumbled it. Or worse, made her wait. The ability to take on a new client spontaneously, without it becoming a stressful scramble, is not luck. It's infrastructure.

The details are what make you unforgettable.

If I'm being really honest…past me totally would have taken shortcuts here. Maybe skipped the contract (I know, I know — ew 🥴). Maybe skipped the onboarding form because it all felt urgent. But I didn't. And that level of professionalism? It's magnetic. Because it's not just about the photos at the end of the day, it’s the whole experience from start to end. It's the way someone feels moving through your world. And that is what makes people come back, and what makes them refer their friends.

"Yeah, photos with Sophie was amazing. But honestly? The whole experience was too." That's what we're building here. And you should be too.

Now, I can't squeeze any more Melbourne shoots in before I head off. But if you're on the Sunshine Coast or in Brisbane — I have two VIP Day spots available, and I would love for one of them to be yours.

A VIP Day is exactly what it sounds like: we get together and get it done. The to-do list you've been staring at for months? The systems, the automations, the strategy, the workflows? We knock it out together, so you can stop carrying it around and start actually moving.

$950 + GST.

And if you book before the 25th of May — you'll also get a 30-minute post VIP Day call, so we can check in, troubleshoot, and make sure everything is landing the way it should.

If that's you, reach out. I'd love to hear where you're at and figure out if this is the right fit. And if you’re holding that same energy of making sh*t happen, then you can book in below.

With kindness,

Sophie
