This is incredibly important and I want you to know that I totally hear you in this. When we are investing into not only a creative experience, but one that involves meeting edges or discomforts, it’s so incredibly normal to have this feeling come up. I too have been met with resistance due to the lack of trust in a space and because of my experiences, I am so passionate about ensuring you feel the utmost trust & support in this space.

You have plenty of opportunities to connect and form a bond with me before our photography experience – whether that’s through online communication or our coffee & connection date. Not only this, but you can rest assured knowing that the camera doesn’t get picked up until you’re feeling ready.

Let me start with this – I think being photogenic is a myth. I think the word confidence is much more accurate than being photogenic. And how do you grow more confident in something? Through exposure, support and a greater feeling of acceptance. Knowing that no matter what you ‘do’ you won’t be judged, you’ll just be celebrated for you being you.

I am your biggest hype girl and will always endeavour to make you feel your most beautiful, celebrated self in front of the camera. Trust me – you don’t know until you try and when you first truly see yourself, it’s a game changer.

Fabulous – me either. I want your photos to be unique to you. That’s why I tend to avoid shooting in highly popular photoshoot locations, unless you choose to! In our coffee and connection date we will map out the locations that excite you and feel aligned in your business.

Say for example you’re a naturopath that specialises in women’s health and wellness, for your three locations you might choose – your office, a natural semi-private stream in a forest and a wholefoods/farmers market. Your photos might also vary from professional, natural headshots to more embodied imagery of the female form to even gorgeous images of nature that you can use across your platforms without needing to put your face up on every post. This is about creativity, variety & of course bringing your brand image to life.

First things first – know that almost everybody, regardless of how comfortable they are in front of a camera will feel nervous about an experience like this. Why? Because you’re being seen in your power, courage & femineity.

I start every experience I do with a meditation and connection to self, to ensure you’re feeling grounded in the space before the images even begin. Sometimes the mind can play tricks and bounce back in, even after an hour or so being in front of the camera. I’ll always check in with you & ask you for what you need, whether that’s a hug, a chat or a break.
